Do as I Say, NOT as I do!

01 Do as I Say, NOT as I do!

Do as I Say Do as I Say, NOT as I do!As a marketer, writer and social media consultant, I counsel my clients that the number one, single most-important, fundamental cornerstone piece of their marketing is fresh, valuable, interesting content. Nobody will keep coming to your website if it still looks as though it was built at the advent of the internet age. Blog readers will only frequent your blog if you frequently update it. The only way to get followers and see results from Facebook and Twitter and LinkedIn and other social media sites, is to participate and contribute on a regular, ongoing basis.  Your newsletter will be out-of-sight, out-of-mind with subscribers exceptionally quickly if you aren’t consistently putting it out every month (or week or quarter, whatever your schedule may be).

If you aren’t interested in putting in the time and energy to nurture and grow these powerful marketing tools, then don’t use them and don’t expect to see ROI or any results whatsoever from your sporadic efforts. Customers want, and deserve, more.

Today I say, please do as I say and not as I do. I shamefully recognize that it’s been 5 months (5 months!!!) since I’ve written a post to this blog. This is being remedied.  Hopefully at least some of you remember who I am and why you signed up to receive updates on this blog anyway and I hope to see you all around!
